Company Overview Having many years of experience in the injection moulding business, gained as the in-house moulding facility for Bourne Tools, and seeing a growth opportunity in the provision of specialist moulding of highly decorative components, Bourne Technical Mouldings commenced trading as a separate, incorporated entity, on 1st March, 2002. Since then the company has been going from strength to strength, establishing an impressive record of 100% on-time delivery. MD, Mark Bourne, and his team have been working hard to further develop existing quality procedures and are operating a Quality Management System, with the objective of achieving accreditation to ISO/TS. 16949:2002, the new global automotive standard. Tool Trialing One of the major strengths of the company is its extensive experience, since 1996, of tool trialing. The company sees this service as a key part of the business, offering both toolmakers and moulding suppliers, trialing facilities in an environment where both tool making and injection moulding expertise are available - and at very competitive rates. Tool Making Project Management In addition to production moulding and tool trialing the company also offers a Tooling Project Management Service, led by Mike Bourne, with his wealth of expertise gained during 30 years of tool making. Again, with its extensive knowledge of all aspects of the design, manufacture, test, supply and repair of tooling, Bourne Technical Mouldings can offer customers a complete service from initial design to manufactured component. Materials Trials Bourne Technical Mouldings can provide the facility to test new and/or alternative materials. In this way customers can assess a material's feasibility before committing to major production changes and without disrupting existing production systems - so providing significant savings.
